The research activity is focused on the typical issues of energetics and thermo - fluid dynamics and it includes the study of methods, processes and technologies for the conversion, transport, storage and end-use efficiency of energy, even in relation to their environmental impact.

Searches are performed using numerical methods, experimental and analytical and are carried out as part of national and European funded projects. The research group is well placed in the international scientific and boasts numerous collaborations with Italian and foreign organizations and institutions.
