Augusteo Theater, auditions kick off for musical comedy academy

Auditions for the Augusteo Theater's Academy of Musical Comedy will be held on Monday, September 8 and Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at the Augusteo Theater in Naples, Piazzetta Duca d'Aosta 263.

The Augusteo Theater has always hosted performances of the great Italian tradition and intends to stimulate the growth of young artists in order to renew the Italian heritage of musical comedy. After the success with audiences of the five shows staged by the students for the end of the 2024//25 academic course, work is already underway on the educational program and auditions that, if passed, will entitle A. A. 2025//26.

The new course will provide an opportunity for students from 8 to 25 years old, divided into age groups, to live an extraordinary artistic experience and achieve a solid technical, theoretical and practical preparation in the disciplines of the performing arts. Activities will take place between classrooms and stages, in Naples at the Augusteo, Politeama and Pierrot (dedicated teaching tracks for residents of the VI municipality planned), from October 2025 to May 2026.
