Mourning in the university. Professor Andrea Amatucci has passed away.
Andrea Amatucci, professor emeritus of Tax Law in the Department of Law at Federico Il University, a prominent figure in the Italian academic and legal scene and an undisputed master of many generations of jurists, has passed away.
Born in 1938, Professor Amatucci held important institutional positions during his career. In particular, he was dean of the Faculty of Political Science and twice served as Pro-rector of the University of Frederick. He has received prestigious national awards, including two gold medals conferred by the President of the Republic, one to the Merit of Science and the other to the Merit of Public Finance.
A member of theBar, Andrea Amatucci has also been involved in tax consulting and litigation, leaving an indelible mark on the field, and he has always been strongly committed to giving greater value to the tax law profession; in fact, he was elected president of the National Union of Tax Lawyers for two terms.
Remarkable was his scholarly output of more than 125 publications. The "Studies in His Honor," published in 2011, is a seven-volume work.
The Frederick community gathers movedly around his family, children, students and colleagues all.
