vEIColo Call for Proposals - Second Edition

The second edition of the vEIColo Call for Proposals, a major opportunity for scientific research and technological innovation projects, organized by Materias, in collaboration with Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, Fondazione Cariplo and Fondazione CDP, is nowunder way.

The call, promoted jointly by the three Foundations, is aimed at public and private universities and research organizations, and is an opportunity to participate in the European calls launched by the European Innovation Council (EIC), and in particular the Pathfinder Open 2026 program (economic support in the early stages to undertake visionary research with high innovation potential, up to TRL 4).

The vEIColo call is divided into two main lines, each aimed at addressing specific needs in the Italian research landscape.

Applications must be submitted no later than 1 p.m. on Sept. 30, 2025 through the"ROL online applications" procedure accessible from the homepage of the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation website.

In addition, in partnership with Knowledge for Business, we are organizing, in the cities of Naples, Bari and Palermo, an in-person roadshow with informative and in-depth moments on the opportunities of the vEIColo call.

The next stop will be Naples during the 10th edition of Innovation Village, May 29 and 30 at Villa Doria d'Angri.
