At the Frederick II, we matriculate starting July 17
As of July 17, it is possible to register for degree programs at the University of Naples Federico II for the 2025/2026 academic year. The University of Federico anticipates the matriculation phase for those enrolling for the first time in courses while the date for enrollment in the years following the first remains unchanged, starting on September 1. Both procedures must be completed by Oct. 31, 2025, the deadline for regularizing one's position.
The enrollment procedures for open-access courses do not change, while for degree courses with a programmed number of students, the procedure differs in terms of procedures and deadlines according to the regulations of the individual calls to be published.
Instead, all foreigners who intend to enroll in a degree program at the Federico II must contact the student secretariats via email .
The matriculation procedure for open access courses is only telematic and is carried out through the Segrepass platform, at the online address www.segrepass.unina.it. All foreigners who intend to enroll in a degree program at Federico II must instead contact the student secretariats via email.
Matriculation is defined as enrollment in the first year of a course of study. For enrollment in three-year or single-cycle degree courses, it is necessary to hold a secondary school diploma issued by an Italian institution or an equivalent qualification acquired abroad; for master's degree courses, possession of a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification acquired abroad is required.
Segrepass is a platform that allows certain administrative paperwork required by the University of Naples Federico II to be done online. The platform also provides access to services that show data related to one's university career.
The services accessible from Segrepass are:
- submission of applications to participate in selections for access to courses of study with programmed numbers;
- matriculation;
- online secretariat (booking exams, study plan and career information, etc.).
The registration procedure consists of two steps:
- Registration and creation of a new user profile: serves only for new users to create a Segrepass account and then access the services intended for their profile, including, matriculation.
- Matriculation: enrollment in the degree program and generation of a matriculation.
