GRETA project activities kick off
The activities of the GRETA - Green bREaThing wAlls for a more sustainable built environment project, funded under the FISA 2023 (Italian Fund for Applied Sciences) call for proposals and coordinated by Professor Gennaro Magliulo of the Department of Structures for Engineering and Architecture at the Federico II University, have started.
The goal of the project is to develop innovative technological solutions for partitioning interior spaces and building envelopes, contributing to a greener and more sustainable built environment. The FISA call for proposals is among the most competitive in Italy for industrial research and experimental development, both in terms of design constraints and selection. In Italy, only 7 proposals have been funded in the Advanced Manufacturing sector, and GRETA is the only proposal funded by UNINA for that sector.
The project has a total value of more than 5 million euros and a duration of 5 years. Activities will be developed in collaboration with a Southern Italian company, an international leader in the field of engineered architectural systems.
