At Agraria orientation, pre-courses and reception for prospective freshmen
Starting September 8, 2025, the Department of Agriculture will organize pre-courses, orientation and reception for prospective freshmen. All interesting students (including those not yet matriculated) can participate in the activities. The activities are conducted in presence and no reservation is required.
PRECORDS. They will start on Monday, Sept. 8 according to the following schedule(click here). These are intensive courses in Mathematics, Physics and General Chemistry that aim to recall and provide students with the minimum knowledge to profitably attend the courses taught during the first year. Attendance at the pre-courses is strongly recommended for all students. The pre-courses will also allow the remediation of OFAs to matriculating students who failed the tests for the verification of adequate initial preparation in July and early September.
ORIENTATION. On Monday, Sept. 8, in Classroom 1, at the beginning of the precourses, the Coordinators of the three-year degree programs and orientation counselors will provide useful information on how best to start the university path (classes, exams, study method) and clarify the last doubts.
ACCOMMODATION. On Monday, Sept. 15, starting at 9 a.m., there will be "Welcome Freshmen," the welcome day for freshmen in Agriculture for A.Y. 2025/2026. The day will include meetings with faculty and tours of the department's facilities. The meeting is at the entrance of the Palace of Portici.
