XXXVII SIEP 2025 Conference. "Public Policy Governance and Service Access Opportunities."
The XXXVII Annual Scientific Meeting of the Italian Society of Public Economics (SIEP) will be held on Sept. 18 and 19, 2025, at the University of Naples Federico II and will be dedicated to the theme "Governance of Public Policies and Service Access Opportunities."
The conference, organized by the Department of Economics and Statistics, will be held at the Complex of Saints Marcellinus and Festus. The proceedings will be opened by institutional greetings from Professors Massimo Marrelli (former Rector of the University Federico II and President of SIEP), Antonio Acconcia (Director of the Department of Economic Sciences and Statistics) and Gilberto Turati (President of SIEP).
Professor David Seim (Stockholm University), co-Editor of the Journal of Public Economics, will deliver a lectio magistralis entitled Private Health Insurance under Universal Coverage: Balancing Efficiency and Equity. A panel discussion on Essential Levels of Benefits is also planned, with the participation of academics from various Italian academic institutions.
The scientific program, curated by a committee coordinated by Professors Sergio Beraldo and Massimiliano Piacenza, includes more than two hundred contributions.
