14th China-Italy Week of Science, Technology and Innovation
Applications are open until Sept. 30, 2025, to participate in the One-to-Onemeetings of the 14th China-Italy Week of Science, Technology and Innovation, the networking and matchmaking event between the two countries to be held in China from Nov. 13-15, 2025, in the cities of Beijing and Hangzhou.
Under the various editions of the week, more than 10,000 participants have been involved, 157 agreements signed and more than 1,000 speakers hosted. These numbers reflect the strength and continuity of the productive cooperation between the two countries.
The initiative, which in 2025 celebrates the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Italy and China, is sponsored by the Ministry of University and Research (MUR) and the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China. It is coordinated in Italy by the IDIS-City of Science Foundation, in collaboration with the National Research Council (CNR), while in China it is organized by the Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission, and in collaboration with the International Technology Transfer Network.
The Week represents a strategic platform to promote Italian excellence and facilitate the creation of scientific, technological and productive partnerships in key areas for the future. This year's edition will focus on six thematic areas of great topicality and mutual interest: Advanced Manufacturing, Artificial Intelligence Law and Ethics, Life Sciences and Health Sciences, Marine and Polar Sciences (biodiversity and climate change), Cultural Heritage Protection and Artificial Intelligence, and Tropical Agriculture.
Companies, universities, research centers, startups, technology clusters and trade associations based in Italy will have the opportunity to present their innovations and skills to a qualified audience of Chinese interlocutors, with the aim of starting concrete and lasting collaborations.
Participation in the One-to-One meetings is free of charge and will be held in English. To join, you must complete the online registration at the link by September 30, 2025.
