10th National Scientific Conference "Down Syndrome: From Research to Treatment"
On October 16, 17, and 18, 2026, in the Main Auditorium of the School of Medicine and Surgery. Free and open to the public; registration is required by September 30.
A new edition of the National Scientific Conference “Down Syndrome: From Research to Treatment,” organized by the Italian t21 Task Force and the Department of Molecular Medicine and Medical Biotechnology at Federico II University .
The 10th edition of the conference will be held on October 16, 17, and 18, 2026, in the Aula Magna of the School of Medicine and Surgery, located at Via Pansini 5, 80131, Naples.
Over the course of the three days, scientific sessions will alternate with educational and discussion sessions, ensuring that research advances become accessible knowledge and a shared resource.
Alongside the scientific sessions, throughout all three days, there will be numerous opportunities for dialogue in accessible language with people with Down syndrome and their families. The conference will conclude with a roundtable discussion dedicated to the “Life Project,” featuring CoorDown alongside AIPD.
The conference is free and open to everyone and will also be streamed online.
