Scientific Meeting of the Campania Section of the Italian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (SIB)

The Scientific Meeting of the Campania Section of the Italian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (SIB), coordinated by professor Loredana Mariniello, is scheduled for Nov. 7, 2025.

The appointment is at 9 a.m. in the Aula Magna of CESTEV - Biotechnology Complex of the Federico II University, via De Amicis, 95.

The meeting, divided into oral and poster scientific communications, aims to encourage the participation of young aspiring biochemists to promote experiences in scientific communication, results and collaboration among the various Groups of the SIB, which will be grouped as follows: Nucleic Acids/Computational and System Biology; Biotechnology; Cancer Biochemistry; Membranes/Proteins; and Nutrition and Environment.

The meeting will include the presentation of the book "History of Biochemistry in Italy ," which contains information related to the origin of this discipline up to the year 2000 and is dedicated to the younger generation of biochemists so that they will know the past to build the future.
