'Molecular Cytopathology'
The 14th edition of the International Meeting "Molecular Cytopathology," organized by Professor Giancarlo Troncone of the Department of Public Health, will be held in Naples on Nov. 29 and 30, 2025, at the Conference Center of the University of Naples Federico II (via Partenope).
The event, consisting of two days and five scientific sessions, will focus on the evolving role of cytopathology in the management of small tissue specimens, with particular attention to the integration of morphologic and molecular diagnostics in a context in which the operational flows of cytologic specimens and small biopsies increasingly converge.
Through multidisciplinary sessions, interactive panels, and the contribution of numerous national and international experts, the meeting will address the current challenges and future prospects of small specimen diagnostics, with the aim of redefining the role of cytopathology as an increasingly central discipline in modern oncology pathways.
