'Molecular Cytopathology'

The 14th edition of the International Meeting "Molecular Cytopathology" organized by Professor Giancarlo Troncone in collaboration with The "University of Texas" and the "Universidad de Navarra" (Pamplona-ES) will be held in Naples on November 29 and 30, 2025 at the Federico II Congress Center in via Partenope.

A two-day event divided into five sessions that, in this edition, will focus on the combined approach of morphological and molecular diagnostics applied especially to small samples (small tissues samples) in which, in order to make the best use of all the existing sample, the synergy between cytology and histology becomes crucial both for diagnostic and predictive purposes.

The Meeting, organized under the patronage of AITIC, has Faculty composed of researchers of international standing: Sinchita Roy-Chowdhuri of Huston; Maria D. Lozano, president of the Spanish Society of Cytology; Fernando Shmitt president of the International Academy of Cytology (IAC); Philippe Vielh president of the Cytology Working Group of the European Society of Pathology (ESP); and again Amy Le (Massachusetts General Hospital), Michiya Nishino (Harvard Medical School), Guoping Cai (Yale School of Medicine), Spasenija Savic (University of Basel) among others.
