Massimo Troisi to receive honorary degree from Federico II

Massimo Troisi awarded honorary degree in 'Disciplines of Music and Performance. History and Theory'. The University of Naples Federico II will confer him the honorary master's degree in memory at a ceremony to be held on Monday, Feb. 20, 2023, at 11 a.m. in the Complex of Saints Marcellinus and Festus, in Largo San Marcellino, 10, Naples.

The witnesses have all accepted with affection and emotion to bring their contributions to support the decision of the University of Frederick, urged by Enzo Decaro, to confer academic recognition on the man and artist Massimo Troisi.

Speeches by Rector Matteo Lorito and Andrea Mazzucchi, director of the Department of Humanities, will introduce the ceremony.
