MANNight Thursdays are back: On October 1, the National Archaeological Museum of Naples will also be open in the evening, with many artistic performances scheduled throughout the museum’s collections.
In addition, during the MANNight events in October, the OpenMANN annual membership will be promoted: access to the museum in the evening, access to the museum all year round, to further strengthen the bond between the Archaeological Museum and the city.

The MANNight project, conceived by the Museum’s management and produced by Casa del Contemporaneo in collaboration with La Santissima Community Hub, will once again offer the public new performances and an original selection of music this week featuring FuturoTropicale, a Milan-based DJ: a set inspired by the late-1980s Balearic scene that spans all musical genres, from pop to disco to house music. As every week, DJ Angelica Barella will welcome the audience with her welcome session on the museum’s embankment.

“October is all about evening openings—and more: an autumn packed with events awaits us, marked by the celebration of our Museum’s 250-year history. The common thread running through these initiatives will be the awareness that the future meets the past: a slogan that will accompany us throughout 2027, highlighting the multidisciplinary nature of our activities,” comments the Museum’s General Director, Francesco Sirano.

During the four MANNight evenings in October, the Museum will participate in the awareness campaign linked to Breast Cancer Awareness Month and promoted by Susan Komen Italia in partnership with the Ministry of Culture: the Callipygian Venus will be illuminated in pink.
