Mourning in the Athenaeum for the passing of Professor Eliana Minicozzi

Professor Eliana Minicozzi, associate of computer science at Federico II, who was part of the pioneering cybernetics group in Physics , left us on Sept. 30, 2025. She was among the founders of the Graduate Program in Computer Science.

Long the wife of the late Professor Renato Musto, together they wrote an important page in the history of the University of Naples Federico II and actively participated in the student movements of the Sixty-Eight with deep civic and academic commitment.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2025 at 1 p.m. at the Naples Crematorium on Via Santa Maria del Pianto 117-83.
