The Goldonian Day / Naples Edition
Now in its third edition this year, the Goldoniana Day/Naples Edition curated by Professor Maria Pia Pagani will take place on Monday, Nov. 24, 2025 in the Ex Cataloghi Lignei lecture hall of the Department of Humanities, Via Porta di Massa, 1, starting at 2 p.m.
The day, chaired by Professor Francesco Cotticelli, will open with talks by four distinguished guests: Caterina D'Amico (Zeffirelli Foundation), Antonio Audino (theater critic), Filippo Murino (University of Salerno), and Paolo Totti (conductor). Following, there will be a national preview presentation of the volume: Ugo Ojetti, I capricci del Conte Ottavio, edited by Maria Pia Pagani (Rome, Succedeoggi Libri, 2025), with readings by actor Salvatore Iermano. In closing there will be a talk, enriched by a performance action, by maestro Michele Monetta.
The event has the patronage of the Ghislieri College of Pavia, "Il Vittoriale degli Italiani" Foundation, Zeffirelli Foundation and ICRA Project.
