With the certificate awarding ceremony held in the monumental Church of St. Peter Martyr and presided over by Federico II's Pro-Chancellor Angela Zampella, the Training Courses in "European Mediator for Interculture and Social Cohesion" (eighth edition); "Caregiver" (fifth edition); and "Theory and Practice of Human Rights for Intercultural Mediation" (second edition)came to a conclusion.

The training courses are the outcome of the fruitful collaboration between the Departments of Political Science, Translational Medical Sciences, Law and the Community of Sant'Egidio and promoted within the framework of the Delegation for Issues and Policies Related to Migrants and Refugees. More than 70 graduates, of whom a good part are young migrants and refugees from Africa, Latin America and Asia, as well as from various European countries. Significant was the presence of Italians eager to make themselves available with expertise to facilitate the processes of reception and integration into Italian society. A special thanks goes to the more than 100 lecturers, professionals and experts who in a free way teach with dedication to the Courses, making it possible to cut enrollment costs as much as possible and avoid income discrimination. In this way, Frederick II reaffirms the overriding intent of an authoritative institution that is both inclusive and solicitous in social cohesion. Trait recognized with vivid appreciation at the Annual Conference organized by UNHCR last September as part of the Inclusive University Manifesto initiatives. A network to which the Federico II has also adhered since 2024 with its scholarship programs for young people with migrant backgrounds, which now involve 8 funding bodies and about 60 female students.

Of absolute importance are internships with which the trainees come into contact and actively contribute to broaden and integrate an articulated network of solidarity towards the marginalized classes and fragile people of Naples and Campania. An experience that confirms the effectiveness of a culture open to reality, from which the University of Frederick constantly draws new stimuli and strategies to make its own contribution, both personal and collective, for a respectful society attentive to the dignity of each person. Appointment in the fall with the activation of calls for participation in the new cycles of Training Courses.
