Eugenio Bennato's concert for the conclusion of AppBenessere

The project "AppBenessere: a reticular and systemic approach to promoting the psychophysical well-being of the student population" crosses its first milestone.

Events, laboratories, workshops, spaces for confrontations have been the constant of an intense year that has seen a busy calendar with the aim of promoting psychophysical well-being, countering psychological distress and pathological addictions of university students through motor-sports, artistic and expressive activities aimed at fostering the development of the values of inclusion and participation, but above all the ability to create relationships with oneself and others.

The final stage is on October 10, 2025 in Town Hall Square with the initiative 'Well-being as a common good' that will conclude with a concert by Eugenio Bennato. Before that, it will be time to analyze the results obtained from the MUR-funded project, which is part of the larger PROBEN container, and which sees the Federico II University, as lead partner, together in partnership with all the universities in Campania: Università degli Studi del Sannio, Università degli Studi della Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli," Università degli Studi di Napoli l'Orientale, Università degli Studi di Napoli Parthenope, Università degli Studi di Salerno, Università degli Studi Suor Orsola Benincasa, Scuola Superiore Meridionale and two Neapolitan AFAMs, the Conservatorio di San Pietro a Majello and the Accademia delle Belle Arti.

The appointment is at the Metro Municipio Station, port side entrance, at 5:30 p.m. Opening the event will be a video report that collects what has been done over the months, then it will be the turn of a talk on "University as a caring community: a model for students' well-being," curated by Sky Tg24 journalist Emanuela Ambrosino.

Space will be given to the students, the real protagonists of AppBenessere; they will be the ones to discuss in some round tables.

The first, which will be moderated by Damiano Schiavone, National Council of University Students, will focus on 'Recognizing the Signs - Identifying Discomfort in Self and Others'. Discussing this will be LudovicaDi Motta, University of Suor Orsola Benincasa, Osvaldo Fava, Meridionale High School, Alessio Lustro, University of Campania 'Luigi Vanvitelli'.

Then, a focus on 'Creating Listening Spaces - Building Trust, Overcoming Stigma'. Pierfrancesco Gargiulo, National Council of University Students, will moderate the panel featuring Giovanna Coletta, University of Sannio, Emanuela Cristofaro, University of Naples "L'Orientale," Emanuele Fiadone, Academy of Fine Arts of Naples.

Third in-depth discussion will be on 'Acting for well-being - From awareness to concrete actions'. Moderating will be Tommaso Fusco, Regional Coordinating Committee of Campania Universities. Sofia Boscaino, University of Salerno, Vincenza Di Nardo, Conservatorio di Musica San Pietro a Majella in Naples, Serena Zizza, University of Naples "Parthenope" will participate.

Finally, plenary restitution 'From dialogue to key messages' which will be coordinated by Antonino Esposito, National Council of University Students with Damiano Schiavone, Pierfrancesco Gargiulo, and Tommaso Fusco.

Then, it will be the turn of Rallenta-Menti, Quartetto del Duae Siciliae Sax Ensemble, Conservatorio di Musica San Pietro a Majella in Naples. Adriana Silluzio, soprano sax, Laura Sorrentino, alto sax, Daniele Peligra, tenor sax, Giuseppe Gibilisco, baritone sax.

Before moving to the square there will be a session with posters, contributions from partners to the project and there will be space for exchange of ideas and informal networking.

Closing will be the music of Eugenio Bennato who, through his songs, will give voice to the deepest meaning of 'Wellness'.
