Federico II's Departments of Excellence 2023 - 2027.

Twelve Departments of the Federico II are eligible for funding reserved for "Departments of Excellence" and represent all the Schools of the University established 800 years ago by Swabian Emperor Frederick II.

The list of 350 Departments of Excellence (of which only 180 had their project funded) drawn up by the MUR for research quality based on the evaluation of ANVUR - the National Agency for Research Evaluation - included 15 Frederick II Departments.
