Honorary Doctorate of Social Sciences and Statistics to King Felipe VI
On Thursday, Dec. 12, at 4:30 p.m., at the Teatro di San Carlo in Naples, the Ceremony for conferring the Honorary Doctorate in Social Sciences and Statistics to His Majesty King of Spain Felipe VI will be held in the presence of the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella.
The event, which is part of the celebrations of the 800th anniversary of Federico II, is divided into two moments: the first celebrating the University, hosted by RAI journalist Marcella Maresca, a Federiciana, and then the academic rite of conferring the honoris causa degree.
Chancellor Matteo Lorito will formulate institutional greetings and introduce the ceremony, Director Dora Gambardella will introduce the Department of Social Sciences, and Professor Enrica Amaturo, coordinator of the Doctoral Program in Social Sciences and Statistics, will give the Laudatio Academica .Following this , King Felipe VI of Spain will deliver the Lectio Magistralis.
