The official program of the 77th edition of the Prix Italia, Rai's international competition for broadcasters, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the National Committee Neapolis 2500 Napoli Musa, has been published.

Five days of events, previews, meetings, performances and live productions will enliven the Neapolitan city, focusing on culture, innovation and the telling of the real, from a national and international perspective.

The Prix Italia is the oldest and longest-running International Competition dedicated to the best radio, television and multimedia productions made by public and privatebroadcasters .The festival has been organized by Rai since 1948 and is awarded theHigh Patronage of the President of the Italian Republic.

The 77th edition will be held in Naples from Oct. 20-24 , 2025. Returning to the Neapolitan capital , which had already hosted the Prix the first time in 1951, then in 1963, when the Rai Production Center in Napleswas inaugurated, and finally in 1996, Rai intends topay tribute to Naples and celebrate the 2,500th anniversary of its mythical foundation.

The Prix Italia was included among the Naples Muse initiatives of the Neapolis 2500 National Committee. Get Real is the title chosen for this edition: an invitation to keep one's feet on the ground and one' s eyes wide open in a world that is increasingly difficult to decipher, an exhortation to tell reality without filters, in the treacherous sea of an everyday life increasingly marked by contradictory or unverified information. A stimulus launched from the places where the legend of Parthenope, mythical Odyssean siren linked to the founding of the city of Naples, lives againevery day.

The Prix Italia, which this year devotes special attention to the documentary genre, wants to propose itself again as a place of encounter and comparison between different cultures, languages and media. The 238 programs in competition, sent by 89 broadcasters belonging to 60 countries, investigate the countless facets of our present and question futurechallenges , in search of new keys in the telling of reality.

The Festival enjoys the non-geoblocked coverage of RaiPlay, Rai Italia and the visibility offered by the schedule of Rai's generalist TV and radio channels, in particular Unomattina and thededicated Special on Rai 1, the daily strip of TGR on Rai 3 national, Paparazzi on Rai Italia and Rai News 24.
