'The Plotter' at CLA Cineforum
The 19th edition of CLA's Cineforum Federiciano continues on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025 with a screening of 'The Conspirator, ' a 2024 Italian comedy directed by Valerio Ferrara, who will be in attendance.
This year's programming, which will run as usual every Tuesday until April 2026, features a selection of films covering a wide range of genres and themes. Screenings will always begin at 5:30 p.m. with admission at 5:20 p.m.
In Rome's Tuscolano neighborhood, Antonio Calabrò works as a barber and lives with his wife and teenage son. Observing in the evening in front of his store the streetlight that illuminates the street only intermittently, he begins to suspect that the interruptions are Morse code messages...
Enrolled students can earn credits for participating in the cineforum if their department has joined the initiative and according to the criteria established by them. Students will need to sign in and out by signing the appropriate attendance register in the foyer of the Astra cinema. Currently, the CdS in "Modern European Languages, Cultures and Literatures" and all CdS of the Department of Social Sciences have joined.
The festival takes place, as usual, at the Academy Astra cinema in Via Mezzocannone, 109, Naples, and is organized in collaboration the COINOR, the British Council, the Goethe Institut, F2 Radio Lab, Parallel 41 productions, Mare Film Festival, Venice in Naples - The Extended Cinema.
Reservations are required for schools only.
The next appointment is for Dec. 9, 2025 at 5:30 p.m. with "Brother Bear" by Robert Walker and Aaron Blaise (2003, 1 hour 25 minutes).
Admission is free.
