"Why do they trash your resume?"

A concrete opportunity to sharpen one's skills and present oneself at the Humanities and Social Sciences Career Day at the University Federico II with greater awareness is to participate in the free webinar entitled "Why do they trash your resume?" scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025 at 5 p.m., live on Microsoft Teams.

An initiative designed for those who wish to arrive more prepared for the meeting with the 50 companies in attendance on Oct. 29 at the Complex of Saints Marcellinus and Festus.

The event, organized in collaboration with the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, is aimed at students and graduates of the Humanities, Law, Social Sciences, Economics, Management, DEMI, DISES and DISP courses, offering practical tools to face the world of selection with awareness and competence.

Moderating the meeting will be Gaetano Vecchione, lecturer in the Department of Political Science and Coordinator of the Placement Commission of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, who will lead a real orientation workshop, with speeches by experienced professionals in the world of work.

Also speaking on the day will be Andrea Iovene, Job Placement expert, who will offer advice on how to approach a job interview while avoiding common mistakes, and Manuela Tortese, Performance Manager and Training Coordinator, who will explain strategies for writing an effective, clear and personalized resume.

Each talk will last about 20 minutes, followed by a Q&A session to answer participants' questions.
