"Medieval Latin and Italoromance Lexicography."
Scheduled for Nov. 10 and 11, 2025 (on Nov. 10 at BRAU, Humanities Area Research Library in Piazza Bellini, and on Nov. 11 at the Department of Humanities in Via Porta di Massa), the conference "Medieval Latin and Italo-Romance Lexicography" is part of the activities of PRIN 2022 "MEDITA - Medieval Latin documentation and Digital Italo-Romance Lexicography. Integrated Resources for the New Historical and Etymological Lexicography."
The two-day event, featuring Italian and European specialists in lexicography and etymology, is anopportunity for joint reflection especially on the topic of the relationship between mediolatin lexicography and Romance historical-etymological lexicography.
Participating in the conference will be professors: Béla Adamik, Fabio Aprea, Marcello Aprile, Marcello Barbato, Alessio Cotugno, Pierluigi Cuzzolin, Elisa D'Argenio, Anna Fava, Valentina Ferrari, Jacopo Gesiot, Mariafrancesca Giuliani, Paolo Greco, Giorgia Laricchia, Pär Larson, Francesco Montuori, Francesca Panontin and Rosanna Sornicola.
