'I don't apologize. What love for GenZ'

Io

On the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the Department of Law of theUniversity of Naples Federico II is offering students a moment of reflection dedicated to the education of feelings declined in the language of music. The title of the event takes its cue from the lyrics of a very successful song among young people, commonly referred to as GenZ, born after 2000 and therefore belonging to the generation after the millennials.

After greetings by Carla Masi Doria, director of the Department d Jurisprudence, speakers, moderated by Francesca Galgano, professor of History of Roman Law, will include Fabio Corbisiero, director of the LGBTQ+ observatory of the Department of Social Sciences and author of a book on "Education on Gender and Sexuality," Armida Parisi, professorof Italian language and literature at the Giuseppe Mazzini High School in Naples, where she is referent of the affective education project "Mi ascolto, ti ascolto, ci rispettiamo," and Federico Vacalebre, music critic of the daily newspaper "Il Mattino."

During the meeting, Clelia Le Boeuf will freely reinterpret the symbol of the red bench, painting a chair in red, which she will then donate to the University so that it will remain permanently at the entrance to the Department: it is an invitation, written in the language of art, to always keep attention on the issue of violence against women.

The event enjoys the patronage of the Equal Opportunity Commission and the Equality Referents Commission of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences.
