"In the name of love" theater workshop. First edition

What has not been accomplished, said, written, celebrated, mourned in the name of love? In its name, bridges are built and walls are raised, poems are written and wars are signed, death is defied and life is generated, empires are torn down and families are founded, people die for an idea and are reborn for a glance. Love is engine and abyss, it is impetus toward the other, but also a desire for possession.

Born from this feeling that so deeply has been able to touch the chords of history and the human soul, the theatrical workshop "In the Name of Love," organized by the University of Naples Federico II and the POZZO E IL PENDOLO as part of the activities of F2Cultura.

A space for creative, artistic and existential investigation. A place where we can confront the vastness of what human beings accomplish "for love," questioning the texts, myths, images and memories that make up the collective and personal imagination.

The theater training workshop will be held from January to April 2026 with a weekly afternoon meeting, lasting 3 hours of class time for 20 weeks.

Aimed at students, faculty, researchers, technical administrative staff and librarians of the University of Naples Federico II, the call for applications offers 40 places, 20 of which are reserved for participants of the Federico II theater workshops year 2023/2024 and 2024/2025.

Applications must be submitted through the open link until 11:30 p.m. Nov. 14, 2025.

Participants will be issued a certificate of participation and at the end of the course theOpen Badge to certify the skills acquired.
