30th edition in Naples for "Fairy Tales at the Botanical Garden," a green review between theater and nature that starts, from next Saturday, September 20, 2025, its new autumn cycle.
On stage are four titles that writer and director Giovanna Facciolo draws from the most famous and beloved tales of universal children's literature so as to realize, in the well-established itinerant formula, a new programming dedicated to adults and children invited to travel and discover magical places and timeless stories.
Stories and tales that have been attracting thousands of spectators for 30 years in the magical encounter between poetry, theater, science and nature. Proposed by theAssociazione I Teatrini and theUniversity of Federico II, with the support of the MIC, the Campania Region and the City of Naples, the shows are staged, until next Nov. 16, in the enchanting spaces of the Neapolitan Garden, created in 1807 at the behest of King Joseph Bonaparte, which is still, in terms of the importance of the collections and the number of species cultivated, among the largest in Europe.
The new fall season heralds 20 days of shows on weekends dedicated to families, offering sequential stagings of "Like Alice." inspired by Lewis Carroll's masterpiece (Sept. 20, 21, 27 and 28, 11 a.m.); "Arthur and Merlin" original script from the legends of the "Breton Cycle" (Oct. 4,5,11 and 12, 11 a.m.); "With Peter's Wings" from the famous novel by James Matthew Barrie (Oct. 18,19,25 and 26 and Nov. 1, 11 a.m.); "The People of the Woods" performance combining legends and folk tales about the magical creatures that live in and protect the planet's green spaces (Nov. 8,9,15 and 16, 11 a.m.).
