"Ten Theses for Sustainability"

The second edition of the "Ten Theses for Sustainability" competition is kicking off, an unprecedented initiative, unique in Italy, aimed at awarding 10 theses coming, this is the novelty, from all disciplines, both humanities and sciences, that have strong and original references to the principle of sustainability. It is possible to submit applications until November 15, 2025, on the dedicated platform accessible from the Symbola Foundation website. All Italian students of master's degrees, single-cycle or having obtained equivalent degrees, related to the academic years 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 can participate.

A prize of 2,000 euros is reserved for thefirst 10 winners. The winners will also be given the opportunity to share their curriculum with a network of leading companies in the national scene.

The prize is promoted by the Symbola Foundation, Luiss Guido Carli and Unioncamere, with the support of Deloitte Climate & Sustainability, the patronage of the Ministry of University and Research and the Conference of Italian University Rectors (CRUI), in collaboration with the AlmaLaurea Inter-University Consortium, the Network of Universities for Sustainable Development (RUS) and the National Inter-University Consortium for Materials Science and Technology (INSTM).

Submissions from ten subject areas such as Agriculture, Veterinary and Forestry Sciences; Chemistry and Biology; Economics and Statistics; Civil Engineering, Architecture and Design; Industrial and Information Engineering; Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science; Medicine; Earth Sciences; Ancient, Literary, Artistic, Historical, Philosophical, Pedagogical and Psychological Sciences; and Legal, Political and Social Sciences are eligible for selection .

The application and its attachments must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. on 11/15/2025.
