The Directorate General for School Regulations, Evaluation and Internationalization of the National Education System of the Ministry of Education and Merit and the University of Naples Federico II are announcing the fifth edition of the Summer School "Dante for School. Paths of educational innovation, " which will be held in Bacoli (NA), at Villa Ferretti, from July 9 to 12, 2025.
After the success of the previous editions, this new edition of the Summer School, directed by Andrea Mazzucchi, director of the Department of Humanistic Studies, is confirmed as a moment of high training and confrontation between the world of research and that of school, aimed at promoting innovative teaching practices and operational tools for the teaching of Dante and the Comedy, in particular. This year's program proposes a thematic itinerary centered on the relationship between emotions and literature, with attention paid to the representation of the poem's affective universe, analyzed from linguistic, philological and literary-historical perspectives, numerous teaching workshops and an interdisciplinary path between the teaching of Italian and that of mathematics.
The School envisages the participation of university professors and secondary school teachers, involved in a plurality of activities: lectures, discussions, moments of confrontation, and experiences of sharing teaching and scientific practices.
The context of Villa Ferretti in Bacoli, overlooking the sea and immersed in the extraordinary landscape of the Phlegraean Fields, offers not only an ideal meeting place for in-depth cultural study, but also an opportunity to reflect, through the protection and enhancement of heritage, on the role of school and university in the transmission of knowledge and the formation of an aware citizenship.
