Synopsis: No one forced Tonino Esposito to be a delinquent, yet he wants to do it at all costs, even if he is lame and clumsy, because he wants to show himself strong in everyone's eyes, and because he is haunted by the memory of his father Gennaro, who before being killed was a powerful and revered boss in the Sanità district, Naples.
So Tonino, amid nightmares and bumbling, gets caught up in a series of tragicomic misadventures that lead him to clash with family members, the ruthless laws of criminality, and with the ringleader Pietro De Luca known as 'o Tarramoto, who has taken his father's place.
When he can't take it anymore, when everything and everyone turns against him, he goes to the ancient Fontanelle Cemetery to converse with a skull that according to legend belonged to a Spanish Captain. In an attempt to bring him back to the path of honesty, the Captain's 'capuzzella' turns into a ghost and moves into Tonino's house. From the comical 'collaboration' between the two, hilarious episodes arise, culminating when Tonino, after getting 'o Tarramoto into trouble, is put under house arrest by the capoclan and falls into depression...
