'10 Theses for Sustainability,' call for papers published

The University of Naples Federico II, also this year, adheres to the '10 Theses for Sustainability' competition, aimed at rewarding ten university theses, or equivalent titles, discussed in all academic disciplines, both humanities and science, that have strong and original references to the principle of sustainability declined in all its aspects: environmental, economic, social. In the last edition, the Federico II recorded 1 winning thesis and 1 thesis with special mention.

The competition is promoted by Symbola Foundation, Luiss Guido Carli and Unioncamere, with the support of Deloitte Climate & Sustainability, the patronage of the Ministry of University and Research and the Conference of Italian University Rectors (CRUI). It also enjoys the collaboration of the AlmaLaurea Inter-University Consortium, Network of Universities for Sustainable Development (RUS) and National Inter-University Consortium for Materials Science and Technology (INSTM). The competition is open to graduates of any nationality, from all Italian Universities and Institutes, who have completed the Laurea Magistrale or Magistrale a Ciclo Unico or equivalent degrees. Theses related to any degree program are eligible. The call is divided into 10 subject areas: Agriculture, Veterinary and Forestry Sciences; Chemistry and Biology; Economics and Statistics; Civil Engineering, Architecture and Design; Industrial and Information Engineering; Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science; Medicine; Earth Sciences; Sciences of Antiquity, Literature, Art, History, Philosophy, Education and Psychology; and Law, Political and Social Sciences. The best 10 theses are awarded a cash prize of 2,000 euros.
