Generative AI and Academic Communication

The module covers the core of generative AI applied to education, developing skills in prompt engineering, reproducible documentation and open source academic publishing. The common thread is content production: texts, documents, diagrams, presentations and a personal blog.

Topics covered:
- Comparison of major LLMs (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude)
- NotebookLM (EDU license) and Universal Sandpit for inclusive teaching
- Prompt engineering for the production of instructional materials
- Technical and academic documents in Markdown / Quarto
- Diagrams and concept maps with Mermaid and Coogle assisted by generative AI
- Open source academic blogging (GitHub Pages or Netlify)
