What is Open Badge?
Open Badges are digital certificates that certify disciplinary competencies, personal skills (soft skills) and technical skills acquired through cross-curricular educational activities organized by the University or the Department of affiliation.
Each badge is composed of:
- a graphic part, i.e., a representative image
- a set of metadata, which specify:
- the competence, skill or objective achieved;
- the method by which it was verified;
- the entity that issued it;
- the identity of the recipient.
What benefits can you gain from earning an Open Badge?
Open Badges are internationally recognized and represent an added value in the curriculum vitae, improving employability through formal recognition of acquired skills.
