"Luciano Russi" Award (2025-2026) for scientific research

The Luciano Russi Foundation announces a competition designed to award prizes for the two best master's theses, discussed at an Italian university in the disciplines of the historical sciences (Ref. Attachment to Ministerial Decree October 4, 2000, Area 11 and 14).

Those who have obtained a master's degree after January 1, 2025, and until July 31, 2026, with a grade of not less than 105/110 may participate in the competition.

Applications must be received by 10/31/2026.

Theses will be reviewed by a special three-member jury appointed by the Scientific Committee of the Luciano Russi Foundation, which will evaluate and choose the work to be awarded by 22.11.2026. The award will be decided by the Scientific Committee by 30.11.2026.
The awarding of the grant will take place at a public event to be held in Pescara by December 2026. The judgment of the Committee is final and unquestionable.
The amount of the scholarship consists of € 1,500.00 gross (including taxes), paid in one lump sum.

The Selection Committee, at its discretion, reserves the right to request hard copies of the thesis and documentation sent electronically.
Applications that do not fully meet the conditions of the announcement will not be considered. Those who have already won awards and/or published their research thesis are excluded.
