Teacher Training: Call for Applications Published for the Second Edition of 30 CFU Certification Programs
Admission Procedure for the Program under Article 13 for the 2025/2026 academic year. The deadline for submitting applications via the PICA platform has been extended to 2:00 p.m. on September 15, 2026.
The University of Naples Federico II, the lead institution of C.I.F.I. —the Interuniversity Center for Teacher Education—has published the call for applications for the second edition of initial teacher training programs pursuant to Article 13 for the 2025–2026 academic year .
The 30-CFUprograms , established by the Prime Ministerial Decree of August 4, 2023, are intended for teachers who are already certified and wish to obtain a second teachingcertification in a different subject area, provided they hold the required academic degree.
Applications must be submitted exclusively through the PICAplatform by 2:00 p.m. on September 15, 2026. Concurrently with the publication of the call for applications by Federico II, the other universities participating in the C.I.F.I. — Suor Orsola Benincasa University and the University of Sannio —will also publish notices on their respective institutional websites regarding the accredited teaching categories for the 2025–2026 academic year.
Those admitted will follow a schedule of intensive training activities, with the goal of obtaining certification during the winter make-up session, scheduled for November–December 2026, alongside students enrolled in the first cohort of the 2025–2026 academic year.
