Polity and Government

This field of study addresses the main actors and processes of change in contemporary democracies in a comparative perspective. Specifically, the main comparative research topics are: the language of politics and the analysis of its concepts; the organizational structure of political parties; the relationships between leadership and democracy and between the elections and voting behaviors; the relationship among politics, law and rights; the functions, the organization and the administration of the different levels of government: European, National and Regional; the new actors and processes of governance.
