Mafie, camorre and criminal networks

The research area ‘Mafie, camorre and criminal networks’ involves scholar from different disciplines(Sociology, History, Law) who share a theoretical approach that distances itself from a traditional criminologist perspective and turns to the processual analysis of the groups and contexts within which the organized criminal phenomena are produced and reproduced. The researchers of this area have established the Interdisciplinary Research Laboratory on Mafia and Corruption that realizes research projects and organize teaching and dissemination activities on these issues (with a specific focus on the contrast to Mafia and Corruption), benefiting from the collaboration with colleagues from other departments and universities.
