Scientific computing and Numerical Analysis

Main research lines are:
Analysis and implementation of algorithms and innovative software in several numerical analysis fields (linear algebra, differential problems, optimization, approximation, inverse problems, data assimilation, etc.). This activity is mainly devoted to the solving of application problems, emphasis with to the phenomena modelling and to the analysis and the classification of experimental data (images, omic data, etc.). The study of hardware-software architectures, of computational tools and
their impact on the efficient implementation of scientific computing algorithms. Special attention is given to the high performance computing tools for large dimension problems.
