Main research areas are:

• Advanced technologies for the autonomous flight of UAV/UAS
• Advanced GNC technologies for aerospace systems
• Advanced techniques for ATM/ATC
• Satellite constellations, distributed systems and formation flying for aerospace applications (Remote Sensing, On-orbit servicing, Debris Removal, UAV)
• Mission analysis and aerospace system design for remote sensing (SAR)

Team research activities are conducted under funding from the European Commission, ASI, MIUR, Regione Campania and national industries. The team cooperates with several national and international universities and research centers. Experimental activities are conducted at the Guidance, Navigation and Control Laboratory located in Via Claudio N.21 (Building N.11, ground floor)
