This research area is related to planning, design, production and operation of equipments aimed at enabling any form of information transfer, including:
- wired and wireless signal transmissions;
- mono- and multi-dimensional signal processing;
- telecommunication networks and systems and telecommunication services;
- remote sensing for localization and identification of both fixed and mobile objects and applications of such techniques to air, vessel and terrestrial traffic control.
